Natural Antibiotics: A natural way to combat infection

Antibiotics are substances that are used to treat bacterial infection by inhibiting bacterial growth or by killing bacteria. These antibiotics are normally produced by the chemical agents or compounds. But have you ever heard about natural antibiotics? 

Natural antibiotics are those antibiotics that are found directly in nature. Sometimes, we have to purify them to extract our desired product. We consume some of these antibiotics daily, although we don’t know that they are termed as natural antibiotics.

Garlic, ginger, turmeric, clove, neem, oregano, goldenseal, manuka honey, daisy flower Echinacea, cinnamon, tea tree, rosemary, thyme, lemongrass etc. are major naturally found antibiotics. Some of them can be consumed directly and some can be purified to extract oil or other components for consumption. 

These natural antibiotics are effective against various kinds of infection including bacterial, fungal as well as some viral infections without doing any side effects to the body. But these antibiotics must be consumed at a certain amount or concentration otherwise they might cause some side effects.
